RIP Don Shula
Don Shula, the NFL's all-time wins leader died Monday at the age of 90.
The gruff and demanding coach – though he did have a softer side – patrolled as leader on the NFL sidelines from 1963-1995, wracking up a record 328 regular-season victories. Though quite successful with the Colts (he led Baltimore to the 1964 NFL Championship Game as well as Super Bowl III following the 1968 season), he became a legend for his 26 years with the Miami Dolphins. He led the 'Fins to the Super Bowl five times, winning back-to-back in 1972 and 1973. The '72 squad remains the only team to finish unbeaten in the Super Bowl era.
